2024 marked the 10th Australian ​Open produced and delivered

by Tennis Australia’s broadcast ​team, with our global technical ​distribution partners.


We produce live coverage

of all courts across all draws,

with 21 courts were covered

live, including 15 match courts

and six practice courts, along

with extensive coverage

behind the scenes and from

all interview rooms.

An additional Secondary World Feed was also produced for

World Feed

TA provide broadcasters ​with the option to take ​our fully produced World ​Feed and World Feed ​Highlights Program.


The World Feed comes with ​English graphics, English ​commentary, on-court interviews ​and in-vision hosting.


This is a plug and play program

feed with continuous content

between matches and for each

entire session of play; providing ​180 hours of coverage (averaging ​12 hours for Day 1-15).


The World Feed 2 is produced for ​Day 1-8 of the Event, providing an ​additional 90 hours of coverage ​(averaging 12 hours for Day 1-8).


The World Feed Highlights

Show is a daily 52-minute program

with English voice over

(15 hours of programming total, ​transcripts available).


In 2024, a brand-new broadcast

graphics package was integrated

across the broadcast including

scoring, augmented reality

and GCam graphics over the

court surface.


The enhanced broadcast

became increasingly

contemporary in industry

and innovative in showing

slow motion replays

withinthe set and match

summary graphics.

The World Feed runs continuously

from start of play, to end of play,

daily – providing you with all the

The Australian Open

host broadcast feeds ​provide flexibility for ​broadcasters to choose ​the most exciting ​matches for their ​audience, at any time.


The Host Broadcast feature 6 ​shows courts available as isolated ​match-court feeds in HD ​1080p/HDR, with the world-​famous Rod Laver Arena ​produced in 4K. Both Clean and ​Dirty Host Broadcast feeds are ​available for every match, every ​court, every day at the Australian ​Open:​

All Host Broadcast feeds feature ​English commentary on all main ​draw matches - plus coverage on ​all outside courts (15 courts total). ​The host broadcast features a ​team of over 30 commentators, ​including Catherine Whitaker, ​Laura Robson, Mark Philippoussis, ​Robbie Koenig, and more.


Broadcasters can cater to

their audiences by adding their ​own commentary or graphics ​overlays to personalise the ​viewing experience, with the ​core content and live match ​coverage provided by the host ​broadcast feeds.

Always ​Innovating

For the first time in tennis, the AO broadcast included Augmented Replays – overlaying Hawkeye data in realtime for inclusion in replay sequences.


In 2024, Tennis Australia introduced the Comet Camera System which included four high framerate cameras (up to 500fps) on the each of the top three courts. The cameras are positioned on each of the single’s sidelines, capturing close calls and slow-motion replays from angles not previously seen.


The virtual signage program

signals across RLA, MCA,

JCA and the two World Feeds

providing for regionalised

branding and partner assets.

Tennis Australia HQ is home to
